GOD’S FAVOR DECLARED & ENGAGED

DECEMBER 17, 2021

KSAM: God's Favor Declared & Engaged

As sons and daughters of the living God — as His very family — we have access to all the authority, all the power, and all the resources of our heavenly Father. He has abundantly blessed us with His favor (read my previous post You Have God’s Favor for more on that).

But many believers do not understand this truth, and even those that do understand it still sometimes struggle to apply it to their lives (we have all been there). So how do we live in God’s favor day to day? How do we engage it?

If you’ve been reading my blogs over these past few weeks, no doubt you can guess that I think declaring it is a key component in engaging the favor of God. And that is precisely why I wrote the declaration below that I share with you today.

This declaration is found in my book Kingdom Activating Declarations, which you can still download for free download at no cost right here for just a few more weeks. My team and I have decided to extend the offer of the free download through the month of December. Don’t hesitate to get your own copy and begin utilizing these declarations daily.

GOD’S FAVOR DECLARED & ENGAGED

Father, God, we the Charlie and Fran Lewis Family, our Heirs and our Descendent Forever Declare that we receive and that we live in your Favor in our lives today. We are your righteousness God. We are recipients of your Covenant Kindness and Your Covenant Favor.

We thank you because your Favor surrounds us like a shield everywhere we go, in everything we do, and with everyone we meet. We expect good things to manifest in our lives today and everyday because your Divine favor is upon us. Your Favor in our lives is immeasurable, unlimited and Your favor lavishly abounds towards us. Father, we thank you that your special Favor produces miraculous increase, promotion, restoration, honor, increased assets, greater victories, prominence, recognition, preferential treatment, petitions granted, policies and rules changed, and battles won in which we do not have to fight.

The spotlight of Your Favor is on our lives now. Thank You for causing your face to shine upon us and giving us an abundance of Favor with You and with man.

This is the Day and the Year of our Favor, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

KNOW WHAT YOU BELIEVE

DECEMBER 10, 2021

KSAM: Know What You Believe

In this day and age, it is vitally important to know what you believe — to have a sure, unshakeable foundation of faith in the Creator and in His Word. The Kingdom of Darkness is constantly attempting to knock believers off of their foundation so they lose their power and effectiveness for the Kingdom of God (as Jesus said, the salt loses its saltiness). But if you and I will confess what we believe out loud, if we will speak out the goodness of our God and the beauty of His plan, His way, and His system, then we can withstand the attacks of the defeated Satan. I wrote this declaration long ago as a way to confess and exercise my faith, and to program my mind to be in line with the Word of our God about walking out His ways each day. Please use this declaration in your own life frequently. I am confident it will strengthen and encourage you.

Don’t forget, you can still get a free download of my book Kingdom Activating Declarations right here for just a few more weeks. My team and I have decided to extend the offer of the free download through the month of December. Don’t hesitate to get your own copy and begin utilizing these declarations daily.

KNOW WHAT YOU BELIEVE

Father God, the Charlie and Fran Lewis family, our Heirs and our Descendants Forever, Declare our allegiance and our passion for Your Word. We will shout with a loud voice and we will loudly proclaim Your goodness, and we will tell everyone of Your worthiness to be praised continually.

We commit our lives today, to obey Your Word and to follow Your instructions. We work to free those who are wrongly imprisoned. We lighten the burdens of those who work with us in the fields of labor that You have given to us. We secure freedom for those who are oppressed by the Kingdom of Darkness. We remove the chains that bind humanity. We share the food from our table with those who are hungry. We provide shelter to those who are without homes. We give clothing to those in need. We do not hide from our relatives who are in need.

Because we keep Your commands and because we walk in Your ways, our salvation is as dependable as the dawn. Our salvation is sure and our salvation is trustworthy. Our wounds heal quickly, Lord. You, Father God, have given us Your Godliness to lead us forward, and Your Glory protects us from behind.

When we call out to You, Lord, You answer quickly and you declare that You are always present to hear and to answer our petitions and our requests, and you do so Lord, you answer quickly and You answer lavishly.

Your light, Holy Spirit God, shines brightly out of our spirits into the darkness that is around us, and that darkness becomes as bright as the noon day sun. You, Holy Spirit God, guide us continually; You saturate us with water when we are dry. You abundantly restore our strength. We are like well-watered gardens and ever-flowing springs. We rebuild the deserted ruins of our cities and rebuild the walls of our cities for protection. We restore the homes that have been battered and torn by the deceits of the defeated Satan.

We maintain our relationship with You, Father, through continual fellowship. We spend time with You, our Father; You are our delight and our heart’s desire. Nothing that we desire compares to our passion for you. We live, we walk, and we have our being in the wonderful inheritance you have graciously provided to us through relationship. You bring great honor to us, Lord God.

We declare Your Goodness with a loud voice. We shout loudly about Your Faithfulness and we loudly proclaim Your unfailing Mercy. We loudly shout praises to Your name forever.

You are the true and the living God. You are the only wise God, our Father. There is no other God. Glory, honor, power, praises, and dominion continually be to You Father, now and forevermore. Amen.

KINGDOM-SYSTEM UNDERSTANDING

DECEMBER 3, 2021

KSAM: Kingdom-System Understanding

For today’s blog, I’m sharing the declaration “Kingdom-System Understanding” from Kingdom Activating Declarations (still available to download for free through the month of December). This declaration is an overview of the big picture of who we are, who God is, and how His authority operates in us when we appropriate the Kingdom System in our lives. I trust it will be a blessing to you today.

KINGDOM-SYSTEM UNDERSTANDING

God, You created the heavens and the earth and everything in them. You created man and woman and You gave us dominion and authority. You instructed us to rule over and to manage the earth and everything on the earth. Everything on earth belonged to You God, because You created it all, and because You owned everything, You could do with it as You wished. You chose to give humanity authority and dominion over all the earth. (Genesis 1:1, 26-28; John 1:2-3; Psalm 115:16)

Man gave the dominion and authority that You, God had given him to rule over the earth to Satan. (Genesis 3:6) It was disobedience that separated human beings from God. What man lost through disobedience was his relationship with God, and all dominion and authority are relational. Therefore, humanity lost dominion and authority. God is the God of relationship; He created humanity for that purpose. Relationship requires fellowship. Fellowship requires time spent together. Time spent together requires the commitment to give the time. There are no shortcuts.

No relationship equals no authority nor dominion. God Himself came to earth in the person of Jesus Christ, Emanuel- God with us. You God, engaged and defeated Satan and took back the dominion and the authority that man had given to Satan. Having defeated Satan, You God gave access to that power back to man. (Matthew 16:19; Luke 10:19). While You God were on earth in the person of Jesus, You established and You delivered the System whereby human beings can live on the earth in complete victory and in a living, breathing, flowing relationship with You our living God. That system is the Kingdom System of our God. The Kingdom is Your complete and Your total order for everything. (Matthew 12:27-28; Luke 16:1-15)

All governments and authorities have requirements and commands that must be obeyed in order to be in the correct or right relationship with the ruling authority of that government in order to receive the benefits offered by that government. These values and principles are clearly shown and they are easy to understand. They are written in the book of our Constitution given to Humanity by our God and our King. We know this book as the Scriptures, or the Bible. This is our Great Book of Learning and the Great Book of Kingdoms.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING

NOVEMBER 24, 2021

KSAM: Happy Thanksgiving

It is a privilege to live in a country where there is a day set aside each year to give thanks. Early in our country and even recently, as a nation we have been called to fast and to pray and to engage Heaven in our life experiences on planet Earth. What does that mean? Why is that important?

Fasting, praying, being thankful and calling Heaven to the Earth are chosen Dynamics of our Conduct and our Behavior that have huge impact on the outcomes of our lives on Earth and forever. A Dynamic is defined as an interactive system involving competing or conflicting forces. This simply means that for our being thankful there is a corresponding reaction. We choose our outcomes by the actions that we freely and completely select to follow. These actions impact the Earth and our life experiences on this planet. Our present life experiences are entirely the result of the actions that we have chosen previously.

I have often asked myself how important is being thankful to our Creator and our God, and what does the Manufacturer’s Handbook say about thankfulness?

The words “thank,” “thanks,” and their variations are used 139 times in the King James Version of the Scriptures. In the New Living Translation they are used 168 times.  That amount of usage makes the word, its variations and their meanings and usages, important to the Author of the writings. If it is mentioned that many times by our Creator and our God, then we must determine why it is used, how that pertains to us as Humanity, and how this understanding impacts us as Humanity. I believe this is important, particularly in the understanding of our likeness to our Creator.

In a very large majority of the usages of the words thanks and/or thanksgiving, there is the pairing of the admonition or directive to combine thanksgiving with the presentation of our praise to our God and our King. I have often been intrigued by the record in the letter to the Romans identified as Chapter 1 verse 21. There is described here a very clear picture of how our God looks at thanksgiving and praise from Humanity.

The King James version of the Bible says –

“Because that when they knew God, they glorified Him not as God, neither were thankful…”

The New Living Translation says –

“Yes, they knew God, but they would not worship Him as God or even give Him thanks…”

There appears to be several things that are identified here as important.

  • Recognition – our Creator wants to be recognized as God. Knowing does not appear to be enough.  There is an element of recognition.  Recognition is defined as the act of identifying someone or something because of previous knowledge, or to formally acknowledge someone. Our Creator God wants Humanity to formally acknowledge Him as our Creator and our God.
  • Acknowledgement – to acknowledge means to accept or to admit the existence, the reality or the truth of someone or something, and to recognize as being valid and as having force or power.
  • Worship – a feeling or expression of reverence and honor and adoration for Deity. To reverence is to show deep feelings of respect/regard and devotion. Devotion is a large expression of dedication and of loyalty.
  • Glory – exaltation. The fame, admiration and honor that is given to someone who does something important. Praise of Deity. Praise and thanksgiving offered as an act of worship to Deity.
  • Thankfulness – gratefulness. Warm, friendly feelings of gratitude.

These terms are key indicators of the personality of our God.  To many it may be difficult to believe that our God has a personality.  In different places He refers to His mind.  As like-produced beings, we understand that we have a mind, and that is where our emotions, our feelings, and our personality are developed and where they are housed. Being created in His likeness and His image, for us to have a mind and a personality, He would have to have a personality first. Often people can only imagine God as some austere, non-concerned Being that has no interest in individuals, much less any interest at all in Humanity. I’m not sure where that perception comes from, but a casual observance of our God will dispel any such nonsense.  He is the God of great compassion and provision. Even before the foundations of the Earth, He had greatly detailed plans for each member of Humanity.

A summation of this passage would indicate that our God wants each of us to formally recognize Him as our Creator, to accept and to admit His existence, and to accept and to declare His power in our lives. We are to do this by our expression of reverence, honor and adoration. This expression is to be an exhibition of dedication and loyalty wrapped up in praises that are warm, friendly feelings of gratitude or thankfulness. This is what Jesus was telling the woman at the well in Samaria. This kind of relationship and this kind of praise and worship only comes from a thankful spirit and is received by a thankful God.

Why is a thankful spirit important?  In our World today, especially in the United States, we are a people who often find it easier to recognize what we do not have more than to recognize and to be thankful for what we do have. We are constantly being bombarded by all of the different media forms with things that appear very enticing, and they are presented as things we cannot live without. The reality is that when we get them, they do not look at all as they did in the marketing.  Passing through the Atlanta Airport recently, Fran and I stopped to get a quick sandwich.  As we sat at the table a gentleman came and sat at the table next to us. As he opened his sandwich, he looked at us and said, “Boy, I wish it looked like they show it in that photo on the wall.” It did not. Not only sandwiches, but most everything that is being marketed is shown as something that will change your life. Your life will be enormously enhanced by the experience of owning and enjoying this product.  We purchase them only to learn that the glitter is gone very quickly. My Brother once said to me, “do not buy any of those exercise products you see on television. I have them all in my closet.  They are unused and I will let you have them at half price.” I am sure that was not totally correct, but much too much of it really is.

What are we looking for?  What is it we want, and why do we want it?  Is it possible that we are unhappy with whom we are and what we have, and all of this feeds our discontentment? “If I could only lose ten pounds;” “If I could only get a new car, a new house, a new spouse, a new job, make more money, move to a new town;” and a whole array of “other things that I do not now have.” The displeasure appears to be with ourselves, but we are led to believe that obtaining something outside of ourselves will provide the answer.  Is that a reasonable conclusion?  Is that reality?

All of the marketing we see presents us with unreasonable expectations.  Everything we are shown is perfect, without fault, without blemish.  Our skin, our bodies, our relationships, our cars, our homes, our children, our teeth, our food, and on and on and on, and we are presented with examples that are supposed to be natural, but they are all without blemish.  That does not exist.  If we can understand that we are eternal spirits that live in a body, and that we are managed by our minds, we then can set priorities and reasonable objectives with acceptable time projections for accomplishment.  All of the marketing is very one-sided.  Very little information is offered about products that are available to enhance our spirit’s relationship with our Creator.  Very little is offered to develop correct thinking that is in agreement with our Creator’s plans and the way to look at things His way. Most marketing addresses the body and satisfying the senses. This is the most temporal of all of our being.

Just as the previous terms that describe the personality of our God, they are also a part our make-up and our personality and they are not wrong.  We want to be recognized, our influence for good to be honored, our contribution and participation to be revered by the expression of loyalty and appreciation.  This is important.  It is important to our Creator, and it is important to us as Humanity.  I believe it is false humility to act like this does not matter.  He has said that we are made like Him, and what matters to Him matters to us, and what matters to us matters or is important to Him.

A spirit of thankfulness is very important to our God.  He follows this presentation in Romans with very specific outcomes and actions that are the results for those who do not honor Him as God, who choose to not worship Him, and who are not thankful.

We are told to enter His gates with thanksgiving and to come into His courts with praise.  We cannot be unthankful and constantly complaining. Our God is good and His mercy endures forever.  Be thankful unto Him and bless His Holy name forever and continually.

As the old hymn says, “Count your many blessings, count them one by one.” Make a list of the good in your life and it will overwhelm the bad or challenging.

“Summing it all up, friends, I’d say you’ll do best by filling your minds and meditating on things true, noble, reputable, authentic, compelling, gracious—the best, not the worst; the beautiful, not the ugly; things to praise, not things to curse. Put into practice what you learned from me, what you heard and saw and realized. Do that, and God, who makes everything work together, will work you into his most excellent harmonies.”

Philippians 4:8-9, The Message

OVERCOMING FAITH

NOVEMBER 19, 2021

KSAM: Overcoming Faith

Do you long to have a powerful faith — the kind of faith that overcomes the Kingdom of Darkness? The kind of faith that moves mountains? This kind of faith doesn’t just happen. It has to be cultivated over time and in constant relationship with our Father. Like Peter as he stepped out onto the water, it is easy for us to start out strong, only to find ourselves sinking swiftly as we take our eyes off of Jesus and put them onto our circumstances.

The best way to cultivate this overcoming kind of faith is to activate it daily. Confess it out loud. Declare what God has said about you, and internalize it as you speak it day by day. Then, as the trials of life come along, your faith will be strong and built up. You will be able to continue forward with your eyes on the Savior, walking in victory.

The following declaration was written just for this purpose. It comes from my book Kingdom Activating Declarations, which I have made available free of charge here. If you will use this declaration regularly, I am confident that you will experience great increase, expansion, and strengthening in your faith.

OVERCOMING FAITH DECLARATION

Lord we believe, we accept, and we confirm Your Word.

Greater are You who is living in and who is working through us than he that is in the world (1 John 4:4).

We tread upon serpents and scorpions and over all of the power of  the enemy – the Defeated Satan (Luke 10:19).

We take our shield of faith and we quench every fiery dart of the Defeated Satan. (Ephesians 6:16).

Our God keeps us in perfect peace, because our minds stay/remain on Him, because we trust Him completely (Isaiah 26:3).

We can and we do all things through Christ Jesus who strengthens us and who is our strength.  (Philippians 4:13).

We are crucified with Christ; it is no longer we who live but Christ who lives in us (Galatians 2:20) We are Resurrected with You, Jesus.

Whatever we bind on earth is bound in heaven, and whatever we loose on earth  is loosed in heaven (Matthew 16:19) We have the Keys to the Kingdom Authority.

God forgives all of our sin. He heals all our diseases. He redeems our lives from the pit. He crowns us with Faithful Love and with tender compassion. He satisfies us with Goodness. He renews our youth like the eagle (Psalm 103:1-5).   We are overcomers. We are strong.

Whatever We ask for in prayer, We believe We have received it. It is ours NOW, because of our Faith! (Mark 11:24).
