TOTALLY RELATIONAL, PART TWO

OCTOBER 7, 2021

KSAM: Totally Relational, Part Two

The plan provided by our Creator and our Designer is for humanity to live in active fellowship and communication with Him is the Kingdom System.

The Kingdom System is totally relational and operates by our correctly engaging the interactive system of Dynamics which contain within them the inertia that leads to the outcomes that He has planned for us, and that we innately desire to achieve. Our choice determines our outcomes: Kingdom or religion, regulation and compliance or Dynamics, time/temporary or eternity/forever.

The Kingdom System is the correct choice to the alternative systems of the world. Every facet, the smallest detail, of our life must be viewed and directed from the Kingdom perspective.

The scriptures are the recorded values, the principles, and the precedents that we agree to use to govern ourselves in His Kingdom. As Believers and the Followers of Jesus of Nazareth, these are our Constitution, our Bill of Rights, our Magna Carta and our Operating Agreement all rolled into one.

If we make the scriptures religious, they become optional to humanity and their power to guide, to direct, and to govern our lives towards a living, breathing, constantly flowing relationship of fellowship and communion with our Designer and our Friend, and the subsequent blessings that flow naturally from relationship for communication and for fellowship, are lost.

TOTALLY RELATIONAL, PART ONE

SEPTEMBER 29, 2021

KSAM: Totally Relational, Part One

A.W. Tozer famously stated that, “the most important thing about you is the first thing that comes to your mind when you think about God.” In the entire world, there is no subject where there are more ideas and opinions than about God. The opinions vary greatly, and most of them are held with very strong convictions. In situations like this I like to say that “perception is reality.”

Whatever we believe is our truth, until we are exposed to other truth that broadens our vision. Truth that builds walls and does not allow serious scrutiny and investigation is not really truth at all, it is more of a dogma that is religious and not relational.

Our Creator and our Designer never changes. His values, His principles and His character are constant. However, His relationship with each of us is constantly changing. Not because He is changing, but because He is changing us. If our relationship is not changing and we are not becoming more intimate and increasingly closer to Him, where our understanding is growing deeper and wider, then we must revisit how it is that we see our Friend and how we believe that He sees us.

Personally, my greatest challenge with my relational Friend was that I was trying to make Him and my relationship with Him religious. He is not religious and He does not want, nor is it His plan for us, to have a religious experience with Him. He is totally and completely relational and that is what He wants and what He desires from us. He was relational in the garden, at the very beginning with humanity in-time, and He is relational now.

To change from a religious view of life (regulation and compliance) to a relational perspective (fellowship and communion) for the living of our life requires a paradigm shift in how we think, what we believe and how we choose to act.

In next week’s blog, we will discuss what this necessary paradigm shift looks like.

THE DYNAMIC OF ETERNITY, PART TWO

SEPTEMBER 23, 2021

KSAM: The Dynamic of Eternity, Part Two

In a previous study on Eternal Life we addressed exactly what Eternal Life means. In many presentations on the subject, the idea seems to be that Eternal Life begins when Humanity’s life on earth ends — when our spirit departs our earth suit, and our spirit enters a new dimension or environment that we know very little about.

But Eternal Life is defined as life without beginning and without ending. We must understand that we live in that environment now. We experience the reality of eternity now. Where our bodies are mortal and temporary (ashes to ashes) our spirits already are eternal. We will never die. We will not “spend” eternity anywhere. Eternity does not “spend.” It is forever. We are eternal beings now.

To leave out the understanding and the perspective of eternity in our lives and in all that we do, and especially all of the decisions and the choices that we make now on this planet, is to miss our primary purpose for our being here. Life on this planet is about relationship. More importantly, our lives are about our “eternal relationships.” It is almost like we are in school. We are studying and we are learning how to prepare for and how to plan our eternity. This understanding and this preparation determines our experience of eternity, or how we enjoy our eternal life. The correctness and the accuracy of our eternal choices are very important.

Most of the results on eternity of our day to day choices are not readily visible to the human eye. They can only be seen through the eyes of our eternal spirit. That requires a reprogrammed mind that understands and that chooses to operate on the eternal level with an eternal viewpoint of our choices. However, because the present and temporal impact are so easily seen, it is difficult to allow our eternal impact to even play a part in our decision of our choices of conduct and behavior.

We have become an instant society, and we enjoy immediate and immediately visible results. I am not sure that is all good. The impact on eternity of our choices and decisions is immediate. However, it requires observation and understanding through a mind that is programmed to think like our God thinks. Eyes to see and ears to hear, both come from the Lord and from a relationship with Him.

The understanding of Kingdom is an understanding of eternity. Proverbs so accurately presents the Dynamics of eternity through Kingdom choices. The conflicting and competing forces are the Kingdom of Darkness, which is about everything temporary, and the Kingdom of Light, which is completely about eternity.

THE DYNAMIC OF ETERNITY, PART ONE

SEPTEMBER 16, 2021

KSAM: The Dynamic of Eternity, Part One

We — all of humanity — are eternal spirits. We live in a body and we are managed by our minds. The minds that we have programmed. Yet, eternity escapes us. We just do not go there. We do not get it. Eternity is not a factor in most of what we do. Solomon in Ecclesiastes 3:11 (AMPC) says:

11 He has made everything beautiful in its time. He also has planted eternity in men’s hearts and minds [a divinely implanted sense of a purpose working through the ages which nothing under the sun but God alone can satisfy], yet so that men cannot find out what God has done from the beginning to the end.”

As we analyze the knowledge (knowing the facts), wisdom (knowing how the facts apply to us personally) and understanding (knowing the facts and how they apply to us personally fits into our Creator God’s plan for all of humanity), this scripture presents a very real and strong relationship between humanity and eternity.

Knowledge/ Fact: Our Creator and God placed eternity in our spirits and in our minds

Wisdom: Knowing the facts about our relationship with and through eternity provides information and direction for understanding and operating in our unique purpose. We know that this is provided for all of humanity from our Creator God and that it is “divinely implanted” in each of us even before our birth. Without understanding and following their individual purpose, Humanity struggles through life for meaning and often is never aware of their Created Design. Knowing one’s Created Design provides direction and fulfillment that nothing else can or will provide.

Understanding: Most of humanity goes through their existence on Earth pursuing goals and ambitions that have little or nothing to do with their or anyone else’s outcome. Most often the motivating factor is income and a desired lifestyle on the earth. Even if they achieve wealth and position, they also experience great frustration and enormous discontent because they are unfulfilled and not happy. “Nothing under the sun but God alone can satisfy humanity” and provide the fulfillment and contentment we so desperately long for. All of this appears to be based on eternity and upon our eternal purpose.

WHERE DOES SUCCESS BEGIN?

SEPTEMBER 9, 2021

KSAM: Where Does Success Begin?

The pursuit of success is a lifetime quest. Success and the desire for success are part of our DNA. The desire to be successful is built-in to who we are. Every day the pursuit of success guides our thoughts, our actions and our desires. When we awake each morning, we have an idea in our minds of what our success for the day looks like, and we know how we go after our goals for that day to be successful. Our desire for success is an integral part of our makeup and who we are. No one wants to be nor plans to be a failure. Everyone wants to be successful.

Of the estimated more than one hundred thirty million books that have been published in human history, a significant number have been about success and how to achieve success. The challenge for humanity does not appear to be a source for information about the knowledge and the understanding of “how” to be successful, but rather a clear, correct and understandable explanation and definition of how to determine “what” success really is for each of us. Success is completely individual and is not and cannot be a comparable exercise. Yet, there is a framework and there are established parameters and guidelines that must be included in our personal definition of what our personal success really is for our understanding to be accurate and for our pursuit to be effective for us. Can you define, can you articulate, and can you write out what success is for You? Have you done this? This is important. When each of us do this – when we define, when we can articulate and when we have written down our understanding and our belief of what defines our success – the results of our lives will reflect this clarity and this direction in our actions and in the outcomes of our lives.

For some time now, I have felt the unction from the Holy Spirit God to write the explanation of what true success really is from the understanding that the Holy Spirit God has given to me about how success is defined from the Kingdom perspective. Even more specific, what is defined as success in the Kingdom government system of our Creator and our God. I have known for some time that the Kingdom System of our God defines success much differently than does the kingdom of darkness. I have learned this personally through my life experiences on this planet. What society and the cultures of our world define as success are often major failures in the success system of our Creator and our God. Huge successes in the Kingdom of Light are very often considered failures in the Kingdom of Darkness. We must know clearly what our Creator and our Designer defines as our personal success or we will be played like a puppet on a string by society and by the cultures of this world.

Having written considerable material on achieving a successful life, including four books completely about success I began to recognize the need to define what true success looks like for humanity. Not the version of success that is presented and promoted by the Kingdom of Darkness, but success that is lasting and does not expire. Money, power and fame are the most prominent determinants used to define success by the Kingdom of Darkness. That definition is very pervasive in society and this is what the systems of the world use as their primary standard for describing and defining success. Money, power and fame can be part of success, but none of them are primary indicators nor are they necessary for true success.

It is interesting that none of my writings, including the books, began with an explanation of success as the primary focus. My motivation was to share life lessons that I had discovered on my journey of life. I knew that there were solutions and better ways to effectively address the challenges and sometimes the struggles that I had experienced and that I continue to experience daily. Life is not fair, nor is success in life a destination at which we can arrive and end our search for fulfillment. Every day that we are on this planet, we must choose the actions that determine the experiential outcomes that we innately desire. Knowing this and understanding the process will bring great peace to the process. Humanity has tried many things to define and to achieve success. Many turn to religion, or power, or fame or money in their search only to discover that the achievement of any or all of these will not provide the success that our DNA given to each of us by our Creator God calls for. Be encouraged there is an answer that works. Where and how then, do we find abiding peace, and how do we experience fulfillment? Only through knowing and understanding how we are designed to operate and to live on this planet, while we are in-time, in a vibrant, living relationship with the living God, our Creator and our Designer can we experience success that is for now and forever. The living Word of God declares that my people are being destroyed because they do not know me. Our God is RELATIONAL. He is not religious. His design for our success is not found in what we know about Him, but that we know Him personally and intimately. All of our success begins here.

In my personal pursuit of a successful life I found that my effort must be based on an eternal, living relationship with our eternal, living God whom I know personally. This is not spooky or religious, but an active living relationship where I fellowship and communicate with my Creator and the One who designed me, continually and constantly. How did I come to this understanding of relationship? My search led me to five fundamental questions that I had to know and had to answer for myself. I believe and am convinced that these are the same questions all of humanity has and they must answer personally for themselves. Whether the awareness of this search is cognitive or even if they have no idea of their search, everyone who arrives on this planet has these same questions, and needs to know the answers for themselves. This desire that we have defines the relational aspect of who we are personally and what our relationship with our Creator is designed to be. I have discovered that the correct understanding of this search and the subsequent accurate results, determines our path for success. I believe these questions are both fundamental and foundational, and that we must understand and that each of us must answer for ourselves for each of us as well as all of humanity to achieve the abiding peace and the personal fulfillment necessary for true success. For me, this was the method, and this is how it works.

I want to share these questions with you.

1) Who am I?
2) Where did I come from?
3) Why am I here?
4) What are the Standards of Conduct and behavior I am to live by?
5) What happens to me when my spirit leaves my body?

The knowledge of these facts, the wisdom to know how to apply these facts to our life experiences personally and effectively, and then the understanding of how this process impacts all of humanity (our culture – how we think and how we live) is the only successful foundation that is provided to us by our Creator and our Designer for the success of an abiding peace and a fulfilled life, now and forever.
