JANUARY 13, 2023

Last week we discussed the importance of making choices in light of eternity, rather than based solely on our here-and-now earthly experience. We determined that Kingdom choices are purpose-based and eternity-driven.

A simple, real-time example of this is our earning plan. This is what we do to receive an income. If our earning plan is not to fulfill our giving plan, we are pursuing the wrong kingdom and we will never achieve the level of abundance/success that our God has planned for us through His Kingdom.

If we are to live in the Kingdom realm of our God, we pursue the things with a transcendent value and things that are not confined to this planet. Our pursuits are beyond, or above, the range of normal (or merely physical) human experiences. The things that we pursue are of God and from God.

Our desires exist apart from and are not subject to the limitations of the material universe. Our pursuits must be transferrable to the next component of our eternity, our forever hereafter. As the old saying goes, “You can’t take it with you.” If we are living in the Kingdom realm, our focus will never be to accumulate the things that we can’t take with us into eternity (though we will likely have some of those things, they just won’t be the focus of our pursuits). Instead we will seek above all else eternal things — God’s Kingdom and His way of doing and being right — and trust that all the earthly things we need will be added to us (see Matthew 6:33 in the Amplified Bible, Classic Edition).

This worldly realm goes after assets and things of time. Things that are confined to this planet and things that are confined to our time journey. These things that will not leave this planet with us when we enter our forever hereafter. 

Earthly choices are asset-based and time driven.

Our choices in the Kingdom realm of our God are guided by our awareness of our God-given purpose, and not by our desire for asset accumulation. 

Kingdom choices are driven by our eternity awareness and relationship, and by what agrees with and what is in alignment with our pursuit for the fulfillment of our purpose in eternity. Those choices are always based in eternity and by things that are eternal. 

Kingdom choices are purpose-based and eternity-driven.

DECEMBER 30, 2022

When we enter a relationship with the King and with the realm of His Kingdom, we must acknowledge, and we must first receive and engage both the King and His Kingdom. Both — not just one of these, but both.

This does not just happen. We cannot continue to live our lives on this planet and in our time journey as we did before we received this understanding of our relationship with both the King and His Kingdom. We must now pursue everything in our lives from the vantage of the reality of this higher Zion realm and from the greater dimension of His Kingdom level of reality that we have chosen to access. This is how the Kingdom operates.

The Kingdom System is interactive, and as an interactive system we engage Heaven’s realm by the dynamics of our choices.

Our choices contain within them the inertia that leads to prescribed and predetermined outcomes that are contained in our personal selection of the choices of our actions. Our lives are lived at the nexus, the intersections where the two kingdoms come together, and we must choose continually and constantly.  As long as we are in time and on this planet our having to choose will never end. Our lives are directed by our choices of action. Our lives follow our choices. Our outcomes follow our choices.

Merry Christmas from the Kingdom School and Ministry team!

We pray for God’s richest blessings to overtake you as you celebrate the birth of Jesus.

He is Emmanuel — God With Us — and His birth, life, death, and resurrection changed everything for all eternity.

The virgin birth of the Son of God inaugurated God’s Kingdom coming to earth to open the gates of heaven to all of humanity. All who come to and through Jesus now have access to the Kingdom. What a wonderful gift!

We do not have to wait until our time journey has ended to experience this gift. It is available here and now. We have the authority to call heaven to earth in every one of our situations, circumstances, and relationships. Hallelujah!

We hope you will gather near to your family, friends, and loved ones, and share the goodness of our Creator’s love at this special time. This year has brought many challenges, and shown us the great importance of Family and Kingdom friendships. Through it all we know that all things work together and are fitting into a plan that is good to us and for us (Romans 8:28, AMPC). We lean on this promise daily. Thank you to so many of you who have prayed for, encouraged, partnered with, and given to us over these past few months.

“…As members of the church of the Firstborn all our names have been legally registered as citizens of heaven!” Hebrews 12:23, TPT

When the writer of Hebrews mentions the church of the Firstborn here, he is using the word ecclesia. We are members of the ecclesia of the Firstborn. The ecclesia was a political assembly of citizens to oversee, to advise or to direct, and to have governmental influence in Greece and in Rome. As citizens we are members of the governing body of Heaven’s Zion realm.

“Make very sure that you never refuse to listen to God when he speaks!  For the God who spoke on earth from Sinai is the same God who now speaks from heaven. Those who heard him speak His Living Word on earth found nowhere to hide, so what chance is there for us to escape if we turn our backs on God and refuse to hear His warnings as He speaks from heaven?” Hebrews 12:25, TPT

Our instruction for our life comes from Christ and from His Word.  It is important that we listen carefully and that we obey.

“The earth was rocked at the sound of His voice from the mountain, but now He has promised, ‘Once and for all I will not only shake the systems of the world, but also the unseen powers in the heavenly realm!’” Hebrews 12:26, TPT

What are the systems of this world? Government, economy, media, family, education, arts and entertainment, and religion. They are called mountains, streams, spheres of culture, and other things.

What is important for us as the ecclesia is that we recognize them, that we know they are there, that we know their impact on our world and that we represent and present the face, the plan and the will of our God to them as direction for them. We are told to pursue placing the face, the will, and the plan of God in culture in each of these arenas. All of these “kingdoms” are to become the Kingdoms of our God.
